On June 10, 2022, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) included the 27th batch of Item 1 review substances (N-Methylolacrylamide, CAS No. 924-42-5) into the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) , So far, the SVHC candidate list has been officially updated to 224 items.

The information on the new substances is as follows:

REACH regulations stipulate that when the SVHC content in the article is greater than 0.1%, information must be transmitted in the supply chain; when the SVHC content in the article is greater than 0.1% and the annual export volume is greater than 1 ton, it must be notified to ECHA.

According to the EU's Waste Framework Directive, from January 5, 2021, suppliers placing items with a SVHC content of more than 0.1% on the EU market should submit relevant information on the items to ECHA through the SCIP database.

    Reminder

With the continuous updating of the SVHC candidate list, enterprises are facing more and more control requirements. ZRLK recommends that relevant companies increase their risk awareness of their products, investigate the supply chain as early as possible, and pay attention to the updates of REACH regulations in a timely manner, so as to calmly respond to regulatory changes.
